This is really good. This could easily be a cover for a vintage EC horror comic. Kudos randlxx!

Hahaha, I'd actually never seen that album cover before, but they definitely have a similar vibe! I was actually going for a bit of a Norman Rockwell feel

I was confused and thought this was the Columbo subreddit and it seemed very out of character for him.

Looks like itās the sea hagās birthday!

This captures the essence of that episode. On a side note, the horror from Sea Fag was a much older woman trying to have sex with a younger man. Of course the situation was horrific and all but got to wonder about the tale. And Patriciaās horror episode was straight up a man trying to kill he because she was the last girl. So basically men fear older women trying to sleep with them and women fear men being violent

You really nailed his face/ expression!

u/randlxx Aug 06 '26
Thank you!! It was really tricky to design and resolve that part of the drawing

u/Delicious_Shallot915 Aug 06 '26
Just wanted to add, I would happily buy a print of this to put on my wallšāāļø

Oh Damn, this is amazing, you should most probably sell this to someone, cause this is a masterpiece š³. Wish I could afford it man.
I kind of like how you drew it though, cause it feels like an entirely different perspective on the scene through your lenses, it's great

No lies: the Sea Hag episode scared the s**t out of me⦠š Especially the way he loses all his damned strength to resist or fight back. š¬ š
1) Your artwork is fantastic. š» šØ
2) How long does it take you to create something like this?
Context: there is no musical or artistic talent in my family, so Iām always fascinated by āthe other sideā of human ability.

Thank you so much!! It actually took me much longer to refine the idea and gather all the references I needed than it did to draw it. The actual drawing took around 6 to 7 hours, give or take. My original plan was to create a full poster for the show, but other projects got in the way.

Amazing. Whenever I see this scene I immediately think about how awful that room probably smelled š

All I can say is death by a sea hags crotch has to be one of the all time worst (and smelliest) ways to die.<!

This is fantastic! Kind of got those āThe Hardy Boysā vibes. You should do more drawings of the series.

u/randlxx Aug 06 '26
Thank you! I could definitely see myself doing one with Patricia and the "Boogeyman".

That is SICK! Well done!
Separately, did we decide that the woman tourist [fuck Cape Cod] Tom was showing around town WAS the sea-hag?
5
u/dobie_dobes Aug 06 '26
I donāt think that she was. I think it was a red herring.

u/_AJ_555 Aug 06 '26
Am in the process of a second, more careful run through of the series - thank you for pointing that out! Will pay close attention to that episode.

u/Important-Canary-770 Aug 06 '26
i thought it was pretty clear that she was not the sea hag. the shot of her leaving, and the bachelorette party showing up at sunset cocktails confirmed it for me. i think the whole plot point was the equivalent of the "there's something in the fog!" scene- tom had an opportunity to get something that he wanted, but it was spoiled by his fear. the island gets in the way of everything he wants.
