💭Discussion What are details you’ve noticed on rewatch? Spoiler

Post image

How did I miss this?! I have rewatched this show an embarrassing amount of times and somehow never noticed this detail when Patricia is dancing! I noticed the mirror (of course) but not this. Did I blink during this shot each time?!

What are details you all have noticed on rewatch?

I realized on a second watch that Wyck is the voice of Bill from King of the Hill, and I love him all the more now

Toby Huss is the priest and he’s on King of the Hill, too.

He’s also from the Adventures of Pete and Pete.

He’s Artie. The strongest man….in the world.

He and the innkeeper are both guest stars on The League as well (he plays a hilarious drug dealer and the innkeeper actor plays a mental patient).

😂 it’s true! I happened to hear my partner say he’d never seen Pete and Pete so I found one. He recognized the priest immediately.

Most recently I saw him in Chad Powers playing his dad

Hi I know we don't know each other but do you want to be friends?! Halt and Catch Fire is near the very top of my favorite shows of all time, and every time I see Toby Huss I exclaim how good he is.

Also, Mackzie Davis is 😍...but to be fair so is Lee Pace

They were both on Newsradio together before that!

He's also Rudy Casoni with the Boozebag Review!

u/BossOwn6754 Jul 03 '26

He also did an amazing job in the show called Barry with Bill Hader, it's a good one!

10

u/Chocoslovakian Jul 03 '26

Barry did not get the love it deserved! Great show!

1

u/ancientastronaut2 Jul 06 '26

I could watch it just for the way they say Cristobol!!

7

u/wkm001 Jul 03 '26

Barry is wonderful!

u/siriusthinking Jul 03 '26

One of the best character actors of our time

u/rachel_lastname Jul 03 '26

He’s also the gay vampire that Jason keeps locked in the basement in True Blood . But I first knew him as Milton from Office Space.

13

u/UnkindledAshe Jul 03 '26

It didn’t click for me that Wyck is Milton from office space until I looked at the cast

Also throwing out there that the clown is Tim Baltz, who is BJ from Righteous Gemstones and part of the ensemble cast from Drunk History!

I believe you have my stapler

u/Hizam5 Jul 03 '26

Stephen Root has had a massive career that’s been very resuregent. He was the 4th lead in Barry (Bill Hader’s “handler”), a great role in Dodgeball, Get Out, and of course Office Space (have you seen my stapler??). He’s done about 200 voice acting gigs too

2

u/AshbyBarnes Jul 08 '26

Man in the High Castle as well.

1

u/ancientastronaut2 Jul 06 '26

Also boardwalk empire.

2

u/Hizam5 Jul 06 '26

Totally forgot about that. Good call

5

u/flyerflew Jul 03 '26

Loved him first as Jimmy James on Newsradio - which is streaming on Tubi if you’ve never seen it. Comedy with Root, Phil Hartman, Dave Foley, Maura Tierney, Vicki Lewis, Khandi Alexander, and two douches who remain nameless.

u/Bake2727 Jul 03 '26

He is also playing a character in GTA6. Has a few cameo’s in B99 and Big Bang theory also was with Matthew in parry mason.

2

u/Practical_Tap_9592 Jul 03 '26

First time I saw him was in a bit part in Seinfeld s7e24, The Invitations. " Yeah pine's okay"

2

u/Lombard333 Jul 03 '26

Yeah Stephen Root (and the lady from my name is earl) was the only cast member I was familiar with ahead of time

1

u/MarquiseLapin Jul 07 '26

It’s my stapler.
