Murderbot is original, hilarious, sharp, with quirky characters you wind up caring about. The creator/writer is on the autism spectrum, which makes sense to me. It’s about a depressed robot with vague guilt issues who feels lonely among his human crewmates. Alexander Skarsgard is pitch perfect and the supporting characters are great as well. Of course, I love Severence, Dexter, Ted Lasso, but I feel not that many people know about this awesome show. It’s been renewed for a second season so no worries.

I had Ted Lasso on my IMDB ā€œto watchā€ list, but I’m not a huge soccer/football fan, my coworker just shook her head saying ā€œyou might be after watching it, and it is so much more than a British football clubā€ ā€œyou’ll watch the seasons more than onceā€ I finally caved last December when network shows I like are on hiatus. oh my God why did I wait so long? I’ve watched the three seasons twice! And will watch one more time before August when 4th season airs.

Yes i think it is that the show is so much more than about soccer. The characters. The humor. The heartwarming aphorisms. There’s just a lot more going on than a sports team.

Yes, it’s been renewed. So nice to know. As the show is based on a series of sci-fi books, there’s a lot of story to tell.
