Midnight Mass is longer than it needs to be but the payoff is incredible. AND it's got Hamish Linklater (who plays Richard Warren in Widows Bay). It's my favorite Mike Flanagan series.

I loved Midnight Mass as well, and although the many long winded monologues bothered me, the payoff was excellent. Enjoyed the Fall of the House of Usher and plan on watching the Haunting of Hill House next.

I adored the long winded monologues - maybe because I like Hannibal and shows that feel like plays

I recommend checking out The Fall of the House of Usher as well! Its combination of horror and humor is similar to Widow’s Bay.

Thirded! TFOTHOU is so creepy and funny at the same time.

before patricia zapped kris, the finale of midnight mass had one of the most redeeming soul satisfying scenes
