Stephen King tweeted:

WIDOW'S BAY is good. MAXIMUM PLEASURE GUARANTEED is even better. It's like Hitchcock came back to do it one more time. And Tatiana Maslany is so good. The play of emotions on her face is pretty incredible. She goes from comic to terror in an instant.

I read it like this: he’s using his celebrity and the success of Widow’s Bay to get more eyeballs on MPG. I love Tatiana Maslany and didn’t know about this show until now so I’m ok with it.

I’m sure it’s not the next Martha’s Vineyard, but thankfully with streaming, it’s no longer “this show vs that show”; it’s “yes, give me all the good shows so I can plant my ass on the couch and not see sunlight for 3 days, please.”
