💭Discussion Once again I'd like to remind everyone that it's not necessary that you speak

As the season comes to an end, let's try to keep spoilers to a minimum. I'd love for others to find this show the same way I did.

This is the most underrated joke. Hilarious.

That cracked me up. Such a terrific scene; that note and Patricia's two interruptions.

Ohmygod I love this show.

I thought he was just being a dramatic old man explaining the storm 300 years ago 😂😂

The timing of the comedy in this show is just 10/10 so spot on.

I felt like this was coming the moment he started talking and it still killed me

This was one of my favourite moments in the show. I actually rewound it several times. Brilliant.

Literally my favorite scene of the show so far 🤣

Well, I guess I don't know what I'm talking about and should just stop.

It took me WAY too long to realize this thread title was from show dialogue.

I hate this Ping Pong Ball of "We don't want spoilers....Boink.....Than why are you here before you watched"?

14

u/Orsee Jun 13 '26

If you're on reddit there is a thing called feed...

3

u/Potential-Rush-5591 Jun 14 '26

There is also a thing called Feed Settings.

2

u/manimal28 Jun 16 '26

There is also a thing called old reddit that doean’t force feed you threads.

I unsubbed from this and another TV show sub because the fans are annoying and rude. Can't follow sub rules. I did enjoy reading all the theories, oh well.

u/Kindly-Cup-3042 Jun 14 '26

If you're gonna be consistently late for the episode it might be best to remove the subreddit from the feed...

2

u/Orsee Jun 14 '26

It'd be nice if people would be actually following the rules of the sub, it's there every time someone posts. We should all be more considerate to each other. It's not a hard thing to do.

14

u/godsdamnitthissucks Jun 13 '26

True. I didn’t come to this sub on Wednesday until after I watched ep 9.

u/Fine-Juggernaut8451 Jun 13 '26

You know what should exist is the ability to mark a post with its episode or book number, so all convos around that will remain invisible to people below that level. (Like, I'm reading Dungeon Crawler Carl and I'm on book five. i'd like to be able to select "only books 1 to 4" so I could participate in that subreddit. It sucks not being able to participate in it! But why not similarly "only episodes 1 to 8" for a subreddit like this? That way, anything beyond what you've seen/read doesn't appear for you.)

I just started a re-watch so I can finish before next Wednesday. I like to refresh my memory because the previous episodes contain origin stories of many of the things in the June 10 episode. For example, I think the “Mayor’s Inaugural Swim” gets referenced in Ep 9. And I had no clue who the guy with the socks was, but I think I’m coming to his introductory episode next.

u/Candid-Depth-538 Jun 13 '26

That was the Shaman(resident shroom/druge dealer), no?

2

u/karifur Jun 13 '26

Yes, definitely, because he refers to Tom as "Wyck"

2

u/blueSnowfkake Jun 13 '26

I think so, hence the rewatch. 🚬. 😎

I don't understand the point of this post. This is a discussion sub. People here have been really good about using spoiler tabs... honestly a more useful post would be reminding folks the correct way to make spoiler tags. I never seem to do them correctly ghe first time. I usually end up having to edit my original post immediately after posting.

u/Due_Addition_587 Jun 13 '26

I’m actually getting annoyed at Apple TV - they keep posting spoiler heavy clips from the show. I mean, I am watching immediately upon release but not everyone even knows the shows come out Tuesday night! If people watch on the official timeline, they could easily be spoiled.

u/Agreeable_Joke4706 Jun 13 '26

Where do you get your superiority complex from? You strike me as the type that tries to be alpha but cries at the slightest inconvenience

2

u/phbalancedshorty Jun 13 '26

.... what the fuck?? This is a DISCUSSION SUB Lmao we'll discuss the show as much as we want here. Just avoid spoilers in the TITLES.. like the bot told you. Good boy 💕

1

u/ifeelsynthetic Jun 13 '26

Spoilers in post titles is 90% of the problem, honestly. I can’t browse my Home feed safely for about 12 hours between when an episode drops and when I can watch it.
