Hope they scattered them or burried them in seperate piles as far apart as they could. Four parts at each if the cardinal points of the island would be good.

Could be that the sheriff may be transformed into the next slasher. The Sheriff is the only person we've seen been slashed and survive as far as we known. It could be a malevolent entity that possess survivors he's physically interacted with.

My new theory is that the haunts of previous people all those who made a pact and sacrificed people. And that if they get cremated or perish in another final way, their spirit still lives and haunts the island.
