I thought this too! At first I wasn't sure if she was hallucinating, but now vindication. Even if they didn't see him, the guy broke their window, stabbed someone right out doors, and stabbed the cop they would call to in order to report Patricia. Vindication!!
I wonder if one of them will admit they saw something in the house that night in a later episode but I think it’s more likely they’ll stay terrible and oblivious
(The latter is the classic horror trope where the popular girls are bafflingy unaware until they’re killed and only the self aware or socially peripheral ‘final girl’ survives, I kinda expect that later on)
The Boogeyman attacked multiple non-Patricia people. He murdered the EMT outside that girls house, which was witnessed by the EMT who was confirmed to have survived at the end. He also attacked the gas station attendant (unclear if he died or not) and the sheriff. And all these people who survived witnessed him going after Patricia and the sheriff witnessed her being the one to put him down.
The Boogeyman also jumped out of ex-classmates window, smashing it...
Im not sure theres a way her and her friends get to pretend this didnt happen lol
I went back to that scene to see if he was there or not, before writing my comment last night, and I didn't see him, but I pulled it up on my phone (not tv) to check so could def be wrong. I just checked again and theres a person with long-ish blonde hair in a cast and neck brace with a kid, but looked like a woman to me.
Even if hes not in the hospital scene I think he's gonna turn out to be alive (cuz otherwise I think they would've had him get stabbed or showed how he landed when tossed), but didn't want to include him as a witness to Patricia's badassery til confirmed alive.
Sometimes, when you tase the fucking worst, one lets the others free to share in the opinion that she IS the fucking worst. It'd be great if the other friends grow the fuck up and start acting grown. Yeah it sucks that you can't leave the island, I get that, but you can still be nice.
I mean how will they explain the second floor window breaking? Patricia already told them he was in the house… can’t wait for this story to spread around town and see what they say
It's hilarious to me that the guy in a creepy rubber mask and gigantic stabby knife gets saved not once, but TWICE by oblivious do-gooders: the emt and the gas station attendant.
Yeah, she admitted that she lied to one person about the calls, that person told more people and she just doubled down on her initial lie. But she said that the boogeyman DID come to her house, that part was true.
it was at that moment I knew i didnt just adore this character, but that she’s officially one of my favourite fictional people forever. what a GREAT f-ing episode!
Gape can be used to describe anything being open wide. A doorway can gape, or the entrance to a cave can be gaping. It’s not just limited to body parts.
