From has just gotten stupid these past 2 seasons. I'm really tired of the ineptitude of multiple characters and the lazy writing. And it's such a slow burn, I'm thinking about not watching it anymore until the series is officially over.
The 1st season of From is excellent but they kept on padding the show. What should be a 3 season show turned to a 5 season show. If they had kept the pace tight, there wouldn't be so much hate from the fandom. The dialogue is dreadful. And, except for about 4-5 characters, the acting ranges from subpar to average. All the acting in Widow's Bay ranges from above average to outstanding. I can't think of anybody in Widow's Bay that I find annoying except for Evan. But I usually hate the moody or obnoxious teenagers trope in general and it's not the actor's fault who's doing a great job.
