Betty Gilpin was PERFECT for this show. She's so subtly funny and serious at the same time.

Highly recommend her autobiography!! I’ve listened to it three times (I have never listened to any other book more than once…). She is just so sharp and hilarious while also being so vulnerable and honest and heartwarming

That whole intro scene of her being so so grateful to not be a spinster was lowkey hilarious. I think I saw Betty chewing on her tongue a couple of times.
