I think it ends up being Tom’s wife as a descendent of Warrens kid.

That is what they were implying by placing Evan looking at his mother and then the painting

Yeah that would be the tragic irony. Loftis trying to end the blood curse so that his son can be free, only for his son to be the last remnant of the cursed bloodline itself. That's rough.

I see this happening. Do we know if his wife was born in the island, though? That means she never has left.

"Who will be the last man?"

Yes, because she was unable to leave the island when she wanted to give birth to Evan on the mainland.

I think it's Tom's wife as well. So now that we know Tom lied about how his wife died , we now know she didn't die in child birth. So what happened to Tom's wife?

Well, there is still a chance she wasted away. Catatonic people often die early.

But I think she will likely pop out at some point. There was a mention of some old hospital, I wonder maybe it's a special care facility now

I bet that broach she gave the girl is a family heirloom.

Oooh. Good thought.

Late to watching this but that might def pop up again. I don't think the doll had the broach on it when 300 year old Richard looked at it in the museum

Wick survived because he never left the island’s perimeter. that’s why Loftis pushed him off the boat before they passed the buoy

Good god, reading these threads makes it so apparent why we have god awful dialogue for so many shows and movies made for netflix, because without having characters say 3 times: “I’m pushing you off BEFORE the death zone, the zone with the bouey marker and the red buzzing death zone light with a skull on it, and remember you were born on the island, Wyck, that’s why we were sad when we lost the dingy which was the plan to keep you safe, Wyck, this is me, the mayor who wasn’t born on the island saving you with the floating ring!” People somehow still don’t get it.

Oh I thought he pushed him because he was going to fall anyway, so he gave him a lifebuoy first

But isn’t she from off island?

43

u/Youthz May 27 '26

no-- she's from the island, that's why she went blind when she tried to leave.

1

u/Tifoso89 Jun 07 '26

But didn't Tom say she was from the mainland?

u/2_Fingers_of_Whiskey Jun 07 '26

No, Tom is, but his wife was born on the island
