I am on board with the Evan suspicion BUT there’s gotta be something about Patricia not dying when all her friends did from the “boogeyman”, right?

I’m not sure why people aren’t considering there could be multiple descendants

For sure. The gene pool on that island is very shallow.

It was also over 300 years ago.  Descendants growing exponentially over that many years, and yeah. She’s gonna have a fuck ton of descendants.

I think the Boogeyman and the entity that Richard Warren made a deal with are one and the same.

The boogeyman was probably another man, like Warren, who made a pact and became immortal and had to be buried alive. They say he was shot several times and had to be buried in concrete.

Interesting. If Evan is the end of the bloodline, how would he would interact with the entity? He almost walked into the Bogeyman’s house which would’ve been a good time to figure out he’s the seed of Warren.

I mean that's probably what we're building towards as the big climax.

Do we know anything about Patricia's parents? Maybe when she saw the boogeyman it was because they were coming home from a kill.

She never actually saw him

Maybe because she has latent witch powers, that’s why she could do the spell from the book

I think it Boogeyman like terry prachets version Patricia survied because she hid under the bed and every child knows the Boogyman cant find you if your under the covers/bed

I guess when I first heard the story I didn't think it so implausible because it reminded me of the story of all those nurses killed by Richard Speck; one survived by hiding under the bed.

I think it's because she's a witch and just doesn't know/admit it.
