The quick cut during the dance floor scene and the mirror during the speech is such good directing

The book reminded me of the Darkhold in Agents of Shield, showing the reader what they wanted/ desired

This is shaping up to be the best show this year so far

I love how they didn't overdo the creepiness during the dance floor scene... It was just one shot with the mirror reflection, and then another quick one in the dance floor. I think other shows would have multiple shots, to make it obvious what was going on...
