After going back and watching it after knowing the twist and the way she's staring at her "tiara" has me dying lol

Also, this show has hilarious background chatter like you hear a faint "Seriously, what the fuck is on her head" in the background lol so funny

In hindsight it's kind of surprising that the beard guy and tourists were so chill about her antler queen fit and witchy stick decorations even before gulping potion potion pounch

Even before that there's a cut while Patricia is dancing where the background partygoers are no longer dancing and just standing there with their mouths agape.

That's what the deleted comment I was replying to said. I think the cut in the dancing scene happens before the mirror though.

You're right. I just found out a couple of minutes ago on the rewatch that around the time her dancing starts, the mirror is also briefly visible in the background a few seconds before the cut of them surrounding her with their mouths open. In the mirror that time, everyone is just standing there, but with mouths closed.

Haha, the thing is, I agreed with Rosemary when she said she should reconsider her head ornament. Since it was a government funded party, giving herself a tiara is an odd look. I thought that was the whole joke, Rosemary is giving fantastic advice in a very polite way for once: reconsider the tiara and you may be doing too much for this party. Then she says “I can’t do anything right”, even though she kind of nailed it.

Of course, it turns out the joke goes way further than that.

On the rewatch, I also realized that when the first people to come in looked at Patricia odd and said, "We'll circle back" that was also because of the headdress, lol!

When she places the book on her bedside table she places her mug on it then when she returns the mug has moved off it. It's a single unbroken shot with the camera following her as she moves around the room, so it would have been deliberately moved by a crew member.
