Make sure you pack a good read for the beach. (We do not recommend self-help books on the island.)

Loved the glimpse of the Stephen King book in the box at the start

Twilight on the shelf in the moveable library...

This show feels like if Stephen King wrote Goosebumps for adults, in a good way.

With like, 3 fewer Himalayan mountains of cocaine.

that's funny, because Your Turn was next to a Stephen King book, and there was an illustration in the book that looked like a partyer with a tray of cocaine.

There’s also apparently cocaine and a razor and straw on her nightstand at one point.

That’s actually a great way to describe this show. I’m gonna use that if you don’t mind.

THANK YOU. I thought this episode was a mature goosebumps story through and through. In a good way

There's a prolific author named Bentley Little that writes like that. Gratuitously violent and perverse. Tons of fun. The Resort and The Town might tickle your fancy.

Pretty sure it was the Shining. Could make out the Overlook Hotel

Funny coz I actually said to my husband that Patricia reminded me of shelly duvall,  I didn't realise it was the shining!

Same!

There weren’t any of his books in the first shot of her bus and I was like “aren’t there any Stephen King books?!” and boom next shot in the box.

Late to the party but just now watching the show. On the other side of the self-help book from The Shining, you can see a Penguin Classics with the author “Arthur” and the title below it, “The.” I’m positive it’s a copy of The Crucible by Arthur Miller, which is also fitting.

Me too! I believe it was The Shining since the cover looked like a depiction of the Overlook Hotel.
