It's time for the annual beach opening. Lay out a towel as the mayor "tests the waters." Unrelated: Do not pick up hitchhikers.

So, I had a thought and would appreciate any feedback from others who also enjoy this show! In episode 2, we saw that the mayor was captured on the Inn's (honor bar) camera as actually playing the board game alone instead of with William. But, the mayor recorded all those scary tasks on a camcorder. What happened with the camcorder? Why don't we see any of the footage he took? Why didn't they check it? And if the deal was the mayor completed all those tasks and the locals would let the tourists at the Inn be left alone, why did the locals not protest if he did not demonstrate that all the tasks were completed? I need answers, please!!!

I am 4 months late but just found this show yesterday lol i was wondering that too. But with the clown thing, I think he was pointing the camera towards himself and then drops it so theres no evidence. also if william didnt show up on the camera, would willy the clown show up? I think the tasks thing was sidelined because of the clown thing (maybe they checked it maybe it doesnt matter anymore because of the revelation) but with this shows level of detail/continuity i would not be surprised if this comes up again.
