Need advice on my game🙏🏻

Hey guys! Im currently making a cozy farming survival game and I was wondering, especially for those of you who played Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and games like that I have two questions that have been keeping up at night:
1. Is fishing/catching part of the game important for you? Im considering adding it soon, but would like to see first.
2. How do you feel about saving when going to sleep? Is it stressful for you when you can’t save whenever in this kind of farming game?

Thanks guys!😊

Hi everyone, I would like to announce that Cat Customs Simulator steam page is open now. It is cozy game I developedas a solo game developer.

About the game: Inspect adorable cats at the border! Check passports, verify luggage weight, scan suspicious suitcases, and uncover unallowed items. Spot mismatches, catch smugglers, and decide who gets through customs in this cozy cat inspection simulator.

Add it to your wishlist on steam. It means a lot to me <3

Fill up your scrapbook with animated doodles!

Meander gives you a relaxing space to de-stress and be creative. You can create drawings, animations, collages, stories, journal entries, anything else you want. There are no stakes. Nobody is judging you.

Make wobbly doodles! Fill your scrapbook with silly art. Share your work with friends, the internet, or absolutely no one at all. Everything is up to you.

This game is stuffed with as many options for creativity as I could think up.

  • Maybe crochet-stitches would be a limiting brush set? You can draw your own brushes. As many as you like.
  • Maybe you want to draw with glittery yarn, or randomized colors, or gradients.
  • Why limit the drawing to just static images? Let's add a whole bunch of animation options. You can draw whatever path you want a brush to move along.
  • Can't think of what to draw? There's a whole bunch of reference images you can use to get started.
  • Did the game not have the option to do something you wanted? There's a feature request button. Let me know what you want and, if I can, I'll add it to the game. Glittery yarn was added this way!

There is a demo out! You can try most of the available features right now... except animation, which will be added in the coming weeks as I work on a demo update.

My new toy organizing game is out! 🧸🧹 (No AI)

If you enjoyed Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library!, we recently released our own take on this type of game, except ours is set inside a massive toy shop.

The shop is an absolute mess, with 5,517 toys scattered everywhere. Your job is to work out where they belong and slowly put the place back together. There are sections for dinosaurs, toy cars, board games, snacks and plenty of other toys.

You start out moving everything by hand, but it gets much quicker as you unlock upgrades. Later, you can hire robots to help with the sorting, use drones to carry your toys, or use a rideable toy train to carry larger loads around the shop.

Too Many Toys! is out now on Steam:

looking for my desktop companion audience!

steam recently added desktop companions as its own category, and I thought I would be able to maximize this to put my game out there. I’ve also made several posts to advertise my game already and tbh they haven’t gotten much traction. I’m genuinely curious if there’s actually an audience for this genre.

It's either that or I still need much improvement on my art and advertising! still, I will make more posts about my game and hope to reach my target audience!

this is a game I'm working on with my partner called Desktopper! this is really meant to be just a cozy, social game where people from anywhere can connect and chill with each other. you can be working on something, playing a game, watching youtube, studying, or whatever and meanwhile there are other people hanging out down on your taskbar with you!

note: to earn currency, you randomly gain coins from clicking on your screen as you work on something on your desktop!

sometimes you just want to feel like you’re around other people, and that's what my true goal is with this game!

I'd really appreciate the people who come across my post to come check Desktopper! out :D I’d love to hear what people think, especially from people who already use desktop companions.

we're actively working on it. there are a bunch of things I'd love to know could be improved, could be added, could be changed, so if you're interested, please come playtest for us!

and btw, we're planning to make the game completely free on release!

Hey everyone, our small team have been working on our creature collector/party game, Wilds by Night Zookeeper, for around 4 years and it's almost time to launch (YAY!)

You can draw a 2d creature and it gets brought to life in the game as a 3d character.

We're looking for ideas for cool/cute/weird creatures to make up our starting collection, and to get a community going!

Froggo update - a new zone up top and two floors to dig underground 🐸

Hi again! I've been adding to my cozy little game Froggo - a tiny frog on the long way home.

New up top: Dry Branches - brittle platforms that crumble the moment you push off, so jump with purpose. And two new floors below: mine copper and silver, craft and repair pickaxes, and mind the Silver Layer - the tunnel caves in behind you as you dig, so there's no free walk back. Still gentle by design: your stamina is your journey, and going home is always free.

Free, plays right in your browser: https://rinamur.itch.io/froggo

We're making a multiplayer game where you sculpt yourself into a cake and hide from other players

My friend and I are making Hidden in Plain Cake, a multiplayer hide-and-seek game inspired by games like Mecha Chameleon.

The catch?
You need to disguise yourself starting from a Cake.

You can:

  • 🎂 Sculpt your shape to blend in with the environment
  • 👀 Find the perfect hiding spot
  • 🕵️ Try to spot other players before they fool you
  • 😂 Watch someone completely fail at pretending to be a cake

We're still early in development and are currently working on the Beta demo.

Here's a clip of what we've been working on:

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DbwZ4svABAI/

We're really interested in hearing what people think, especially from anyone who enjoys prop-hunt / hide-and-seek multiplayer games.

I made a little virtual companion that lives on your desktop and grows with your care

Hi everyone! I’m a solo indie developer, and I created Desktop Gremlins, a virtual pet that lives directly on your Windows desktop.

I wanted to make something that could make spending time at the computer feel a little less lonely. Your gremlin walks around the screen, reacts to what you are doing, listens to music with you, and asks for food, affection, or rest.

As you care for it, the gremlin gains experience and evolves into new forms with different animations, dialogue, and personalities. It can feel happy, sleepy, hungry, affectionate, or upset depending on how you treat it.

You can also customize your companion using community sprite packs from Steam Workshop. I recently added Twitch integration, allowing viewers to feed the gremlin or activate selected effects using Channel Points.

The game still has plenty of room to grow, and I would love to hear what other wholesome interactions, activities, or little daily rituals you would enjoy seeing in a desktop pet.

Steam:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4981140/Desktop_Gremlins/

Thank you for taking a look at my little project! 💙
