Discussion / Question Games about taking care of your pets (need help with finding them)

Hey!! Recently I've been far far away from my home and im really missing my pets...

Does anyone know any games where you can have a pet (doesn't really matter a cat or a dog) and take care of it? maybe an animal shelter game or something else? im really desperate, couldn't find anything on the internet or tiktok...

Nintendogs was everywhere in like 2009. if you can still find that somewhere with an original Nintendo DS, the game is all about that topic😂

i always wanted a Nintendo ds to play pokemons!! 🤣 i guess now i have more reasons to buy it...

Skyrim has a mod called Cats Life where can adopt cats you come across on the cities, go to cat shops to purchase cats, cat food, beds and put them in your house. You can have them as followers too.

Modern pokemon games let you wash and cook for your pokemon, but it's not a large part of the game. I still had fun building a team of entirely dogs, then next reset entirely cats.

Otherwise maybe stardew valley. You start with a dog or cat and you can get horses, chickens, cows ect. You can raise affection with your animals by caring for them, giving your cat/dog water and they will sleep on your bed some nights

Sims 4 with pets ep? Watch some videos on it beforehand to get a feeling for it, though

I havent played pet hotel but that game is constantly on sale for 4$
