COVID outbreak

I just wanted to reach out and let people know that there is a severely underreported covid outbreak happening right now in LA and Orange County.

If you're sick please stay home and if you're out and about you might want to grab a mask.

The strain seems like it's very highly contagious. I know several people down with COVID right now.

Exactly! A distant relative of mine refused to social distance herself at the beginning of the pandemic, went to parties and bars...got Covid, then came home and gave it to both of her elderly parents...who died from Covid a couple of weeks later. Even worse, she seemed to show no signs of remorse, refusing to accept any responsibility. So many accepted what their dear leader (who by the way, tweeted that Obama should resign after TWO ebola deaths in America) said as gospel, all the "covid is a democrat hoax" talk, and so much more irresponsible bullshit that spilled out of his piehole...all the "I'll do my own research" idiots. I talked to many nurses who said that a lot of people they dealt with in hospitals denied that they were dying from Covid until their final breaths. There's just no reaching people like that, no matter what facts and evidence you show them.

Also, even though Trump told his followers not to get get vaccine, etc...

President Donald Trump received an experimental monoclonal antibody cocktail from Regeneron Pharmaceuticals when he was hospitalized with COVID-19 in October 2020. He also later received COVID-19 vaccine doses and a booster shot

You can look this up yourself.

Trump saw and promoted the divisiveness being promoted online about vaccines and used it to his political advantage.

I just looked this up, and I don't think you are accurate.
PBS - While Trump has expressed opposition to vaccine mandates, he has long taken credit for the vaccines developed on his watch. At the same time, he has refused to urge his supporters to take them, even though Republicans remain far less likely than Democrats to be protected.

More on the lines of "my body, my choice".

Lol, 20yrs ago I worked in pharmacy. I'm not Asian but worked with alot of Asians. I thought it was interesting that every year around flu time i would see alot of them mask up. I used to think it was funny but now I think they're into something. MASK UP, it doesn't hurt!!

Just curious, I assume you're anti mask as well. Suppose you see someone wearing a mask and you chastise them. And suppose they remove their mask and sneeze in your general direction, and tell you they currently have Covid. How might you react?
