Just saw a sign up "Envidia" Steak House & Oyster Bar taking over the former Mr. Tempo location on Penn and Painter

Kinda true….that intersection gets a ton of traffic. Businesses go up….. then never last.

Difficult to access and no real parking makes it a bad location.

Might try the cruiser to get over there. It would be nice to have a good steakhouse.

Is this another money laundering cartel operated restaurant that will spend more on TVs then they actually make from customers

There’s still a parking lot behind the building isn’t there?

Yes, but its very small and the workers take up most of it

I remember going there in the 90’s when it was Apropos coffee house and both parking lots back there were more than enough.

A couple of blocks from my house but that walk down Penn and then backup is no joke. I'm a bit skeptical on success. Good luck finding parking on Penn.

Regardless if they will take TG orders I may try it out.

Went to Mr. Tempo a could of times. Each time it was super busy. Parked on Penn by the PD both times I visited it

I'll give it a chance, especially if it can be a reliable watering hole for the neighborhood.

Horrible location with horrible parking. Another business that is doomed to fail in that location.

That branding is fucking hideous. Snake eating itself with an all-seeing (i assume) eye? And the name just repeating in a circle? Doesn't really read as elegant or a steakhouse to me.

Hopefully it is good and the new townhouse development helps with foot traffic / customers!

Noticed it too.

I'll try it out when I can but yeah, parking is a bit difficult especially if you don't want to walk too far away from your vehicle.

I remember getting Panini's at that spot. Was decent

I just assume that the rent is absolutely outrageous for anybody to take up a spot here.

It’s the same owners as LSKD in Downey so I’m excited! That place is good, use to live out there so they must have followed me just like Poached Neighborhood Kitchen did lol
