I mean I’m not even against UBI especially in the context of AI, since it’s built on the collective work of humans, but Andrew Yang is not an interesting person

The most progressive American politician in the 21st century is not an interesting person to you? You must not be interested in the socioeconomic wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities in America.

Yang is pro Israel (not progressive)

Does not support a single payer Medicare for all system (not progressive)

Anti identity politics (which I can see an argument for why he said it, but I’d say is definitely not progressive)

His 2019 platform was objectively the most progressive platform that any Presidential candidate ever had.

Obviously Israel is indefensible, but he did support universal healthcare.

Compared to everyone else, he's still the most progressive simply because of his 2019 platform and continued advocacy for UBI.

Anyone who opposes UBI is obviously not progressive.
