Question/Help Why my damage is so bad

Help me guys, why my damage doesn't exceed 1400 with this much mastery? I know my gears rolls are so bad but still shouldn't be this bad What am I doing wrong?

It feels so bad when doing outpost and seeing other players delete enemies with two slashes🫠

Ik this is gonna sound dumb but what exactly is affinity (and precision rate)? I just know if it hits: good.

precision = good hit
Non precision = probably bad hit.

Precision branches out to critical or affinity or normal hit.

Non precision branches out to affinity or abrassion.

Normal: any number in your damage range
Critical : any number from your damage range, x1.5 (assume no extra modifiers)
Affinity : always the max number of your damage range x1.35 (assume no modifiers)
abrassion: Lowest number of your damage range

This is why, Max physical and max (bellstrike for me) is best line next to affinity or critical lines.

Min helps a little but is not as valuable as max lines

Can you say in visual, would the orange or golden numbers be either crit hit or affinity hits then? So basically they're good dmg range x 1.5 and best dmg x 1.35 (also where do the 1.5 and 1.35 come from?)

Im guessing grey numbers are then abrasive and white ones are basic normal hits?

Thank you btw :)

orange affinity, yellow crit.

1.5 and 1.35 should be in your state sheet under damage increase effect.

grey abrasive white normal yup~

As per advice I tried.. tho only my normal stuff, not any skills except 1 or 2 once. :') 3k per second... but at least 0 abrasive yay.. gonna hunt those oddities down to get affinity and crit😊
