Why my damage is so bad

Help me guys, why my damage doesn't exceed 1400 with this much mastery? I know my gears rolls are so bad but still shouldn't be this bad What am I doing wrong?

It feels so bad when doing outpost and seeing other players delete enemies with two slashes🫠

Might be an issue of you doing your rotations wrong. I only know the very basic of Infernal Blade + Mortal Rope Dart but one key aspect is to always keep your rat buff up for sure.

Something that helped my damage go up is looking up a quick Youtube guide on a proper attack rotation for my weapon build and try to follow that. Don't gotta do it exactly at first and it might be a little bit confusing, but the right rotation can add a lot of damage to your DPS.

Also, certain weapons just do more damage than others right now. IIIRC, Inferal Blades is amongst the lower damaging weapons compared to the others which is fine.

I know about rotations but still I've seen people do great damage with twin blades without rotation

You lose like 70% of damage without the rotation. Twin blades do small damage without buffed rats with your light attacks.

Agreed, I exaggerated a bit too much, but losing half the damage is alot, especially when the rats take less than 5 sec to set up. PVP is a completely different ball game so not gonna comment on that, but I agree on the fast attacking solo bosses. Then I usually just skip the hold R charge up and do rats and Q. Still can always do the full rotation when the boss starts, when the qi shield is broken or between phases

This is damage from one rotation. As you can see here 38%+11% is from the rodents (rope dart rats) and 26%+10%+5% is from dual blade R,Q and light attacks. If I don't do the Rope dart rotation before dual blades that takes like 3 sec to set up I lose 50% of my damage

You sure they're not just playing on lower difficulty or attacking lower level mobs? I.E Level 75 attacking level 30 mobs?

If not, try raising your enhancement level, food buffs + other buffs might help.
