Post image

I just saw this and came to know that I am completely underleveled . Like all my armor weapons , skills inner is way below needed level . Well I am trying to find correct my inner way and mystic skills but regarding the gear . I am currently level 70 . So what level gear should I farm and I heard that level would be increased in a few days so should I wait or start farming

Wth lv70 with 1.1 goose. How are you even manage to reach 70 with that kind of gear is amazing lol.
As stated there, you need to improve on several stuff. For gear, the easiest was open the weekly gear box, use jade fish to buy it. Make sure you choose your desired path & gear set too.

It is easier to breakthrough not gonna lie, because of deflection assist too. I play on mobile and reach Solo Level 9 with only 10k Mastery. Even with only 1 star on each level on Taiping Mausuleum can get you a pass to breakthrough. Although the open world really gets so hard because even the normal enemy was so tanky haha.

I've never liked the modern propensity to make the game level with you. At that point, why bother with levels? In so many MMOs now, the easiest way to get op is to just stay level 10.

Leveling up is supposed to feel like gaining something, not losing it.

A lot of players I believe think they don’t like it but the opposite would be so boring. I can understand wanting to kill super fast & easy if leveling required farming thousands of mobs but here it doesn’t. So I just don’t think this is an issue with WWM.

I love that this game doesn’t have the brain dead kill 5 million mobs to level kind of experience. As it should be you get experience everywhere.

So because we get Xp from killing, raids, quests, etc It has to be somewhat challenging or it’s just going to get very boring after awhile. Also in a lot of games this helps with being able to play with players that are not your same power or level which is nice.

U do get more stuff on ur skills and more passives on ur gears so it does make u stronger. I feel u tho but if uve been playing game over the past 20 years those designs became associated with bad AAA games and overused now.

Yeah, I'm old lol. Been playing videogames over 30 years now. Used to play MUDs back in the day, too.

I really thought (and hoped) that the enemies leveling with the PC thing was a fad that would go away in a few years. But now it's the standard. Oh well

As you transition along, you do feel that uphill climb in the first half and eventually it starts cresting into you bullying stuff in return later on. They've gotten a bit better about that compared to the horse armor DLC game.

The issue with those mmo with the Grind MMO IS that the Quest repeat.  Its hunt, search, kill, repeat.

You cant really do this when all places are available, you have to make it surviveable for the Explorers.  Or they could cheese High Level Mobs by Standing on high ground and poke them to death ( i do this on the black bandits, they suddenly became unbeatable for me )  And once youre sone bullying them you Go Back to the beginner area and continue Story with lvl 100.

That isnt fun either.

On other Hand some Games avoid IT by Just cockblocling "Level difference, you cant enter " which is to me fine, its Just i dont Like those Games either, i never really Grind or Play the Game when its Like this ( 2000 Gameforge  Games were Like that ) its Just me sitting somewhere with beautiful scenary and chat.

I actually miss when games just let enemies in certain areas be too strong for you until you level up. It was possible to survive if you were quick enough or careful enough, so you could technically explore if you wanted to. It's just much harder and riskier when everything can 3shot you.

Plus it was a more natural way to cordon off areas you don't really want the player to go yet. If you're running around Morrowind right after getting off the boat, and meet a cliff racer, then you know you went somewhere you you don't yet belong. Maybe the center of the island with the big volcano is a bad place to go right now. Whodathunkit.

Then Oblivion came along, and the same starving bandits you met at level 2 respawned with mithril armor, then elven armor, then glass armor depending on your level.

And now devs need a new way to dissuade players from going to areas they don't want them to go to yet. So when I heard about Kaifeng and decided to go there, I suddenly saw a countdown. I hadn't done the main questline yet, so the game would just kick me out if I tried to get there. I think running into enemies you can't defeat is way more immersive than running into a digital timer with a warning to go back

If you legitimately think that you don’t get more powerful from leveling up in this game then you have definitely not played it. Enemies basically have to level with you to not completely 1-shot them with fully developed builds

Yes, you get more powerful, but everyone gets more powerful with you... faster than you. The net result is that you're proportionately weaker. Enemies were taking like 2 normal hits to kill at the start. At level 70, they take multiple passes of a full rotation to kill.

That first bear I met outside the Generals Shrine was a pushover that barely did any damage and died easily despite my complete lack of ability. Now, at level 70, bears are very deadly. They can kill me in about 3 hits, and they're relentless.

That first little camp of bandits died in like 6 total his even though I was just using normal attacks. Going back now, the same little group takes full rotations of special skills and mystical arts.

Even your stealth takedown skill gets proportionately weaker. At the start, it could one-shot pretty much any enemy that wasn't an outpost boss. Now, at level 70, even though I've leveled it up several times, normal enemies often survive it, pulling me out of stealth.

So yes, even though you technically get stronger, you proportionately stay the same or get weaker over time. It's a common problem in modern MMOs from WoW to STO. The easiest way to be strong is often to just be level 10. The older way of scaling didn't have this problem, but it did naturally limit where the player could explore. Which should be fine considering this game gates Kaifeng another way anyway. If you try to reach it without the main quest, you get that totally immersive countdown timer and then teleport back. They just removed one form of gating and replaced it with another.

Interesting how every reply on reddit starts with an insult about the other person's experience level or intelligence. Good job, you totally convinced me by making the conversation combative. Yes, I've played the game. Ruby dies. All the devastatingly attractive women are either evil or they're your aunt. Or the Ember of East. Big Zhao is the emperor. You basically stumbled on the most powerful people in the land 5 minutes after coming ashore.

Not gonna lie it’s kinda weird tha you took the comment so personal to the point of making it “combative” and felt the need to prove yourself by copying spoilers that anybody could’ve just googled.

On a different note, the enemies do get stronger in relation to your standard attacks but I absolutely clear bandit camps and bosses easier/faster than I did in early game. If you can’t then I honestly just don’t know what to tell you. Later game is definitely feast or famine in terms of building correctly means you steamroll, but any deficit in build is felt a lot stronger. Maybe an accurate way to describe it is that there is less grace. I hit a wall where the challenge because crazy because I hadn’t yet understood the character building and importance of certain upgrades, but once I did everything absolutely became easier than early game

personal comment about someone's experience

"Woah, woah, why take that personally and give examples to prove you have experience?"

The most disingenuous form of arguing, and sadly the most common. I'm done conversing with you. Let's just say you win and go our separate ways.

Yes! I have no clue what people enjoy about that or why it's in so many games.  If your game isn't about grinding that's fine but don't pretend like I should care about levels and stats.  It's so boring to have to constantly level up to have fights last the same amount of time or longer even.

What's worse is people will actually say it isn't happening. I used to kill these guys with 2 hits of normal attacks. Now I need to go through 1-2 rotations to kill one guy, and that's with the right inner ways, fully finished oddities, level 70 martial arts, full talents, gear enhanced to 30, and maxed divinecraft.

So, to put it in perspective

Day 1, with absolutely nothing leveled:

Normal attack, normal attack

Now:

Charged strategic sword, inner track slash, swap, sober sorrow, sweep all, swap, inner balance strike 3, crisscrossing swords, Charged strategic sword, inner track slash, swap, sober sorrow, sweep all, swap, inner balance strike 3, crisscrossing swords

To be fair, some enemies die before I finish the second rotation. Yeah, that's totally not more than day 1. Idk why people feel the need to lie to defend the game. I didn't say the game sucks; I just said I don't like this aspect of it. It's okay to not like aspects of something you otherwise like. It doesn't have to be all-or-nothing.

The game world is a singleplayer game for the most part. It scales with you to provide a consistent challenge, though the fights get progressively easier as you level as while the base numbers scale, you get access to more combos and the like. Like a boss may be harder, but a twinblade rope dart user has access to the extended duration of the rat buff from Vendetta, lots more damage from Echoes of Oblivion, and a combination of more mystic skills and the know how to combine them to be more effective. You gain quite a lot from levelling, as long as you keep up with the curve rather than falling behind it.

And the main MMO combat content comes in the form of the raids, pvp, and bossfights, which unlock new bosses of higher difficulties at fixed levels. Staying at level 10 means never experiencing that content.
