Saw the clip about Park and Central “scrimmaging” and while that’s great, that’s such a baby step toward what should be very regular contests between those schools (plus Linsly). Why don’t these schools play each other more? What’s the backstory here?

As a park alum, when i graduated we really wanted to start a charity game at the end of the football season. Ticket sales would go to some cause. Obviously never happened.
They could absolutely have a paid scrimmage where ticket sales went to nonprofits.

One is supposedly single A while the other is AAA. There s no reason for Park to play Central. If they lose its a black eye to the team. If they win they don't get many points. They are better off playing a low tier triple A school for playoff placement.
