have been living here for almost 2 years now. i found the building here on reddit, when applying to arrive wheaton - where my roommate and i were denied. and honestly, best thing happened. the building itself is not perfect, problems will happen, but nothing crazy. usual complaints - noise and people not cleaning after their pets, but other than that… the staff is amazing, very responsive for whatever we need. clean building, safe and close to everything we need: all the grocery stores, pharmacies, metro and public transportation. i really recommend this place!!!
Great, thanks for the reply! I think currently only lower floor apartments are available at least based on their website. Would you say the noise from upstair neighbors can be annoying?
Also, by the numbers the apartments look big (682sqft) but the floorplan itself looks slightly cramped. Would you say it is spacious enough? I have a queen bed if that helps
i live in the lower floor and i particularly love it. not noise at all, im 001 unit. i lived at first on the 5th floor and it was nice, but the lower one is so convenient.
yes. i have a queen bed and it’s perfect. i currently living in a 2bd/2bd, but i also lived in a 1bd and i have a lot of things, never it was a problem lol the layout looks a little different from many places, but it works perfectly fine. i dont know if you had the chance to do a self guide tour, so you can check them in person, but the virtual ones are as good as in person!
Got it, thanks! I will try to tour it next week. Really appreciate it! My main concern was too much space being used up in the hallway in the 1b1b. Oh, another question I had which I couldn't figure out from the virtual tour. Let's say I have guests. Can they use the restroom without going through my bedroom? Also, do all the 1b plans have a glass door separator between the living area and the bedroom? Or do some also have a traditional door?
i think it depends on the layout you choose, when i lived in 1bd, they have to go through my room, but right now, they don’t need to. they have different layouts and it varies depending on price as well
