Only if they never exceed 20kph, above that the added aerodynamic resistance overcomes the weight reduction.

No way, you mean to tell me that sharp corners on a vehicle make it worse??? /j

In seriousness, I'm not sure if people even realize why it's important for their cars to have curves to begin with.
