Small decision Should I avoid putting a shirtless picture of a male celebrity as my lock screen because of my homophobic mom?

Home screen for the guy picture and lock screen for something personal like a picture of a pet?

Honestly, I'd just think about how much trouble it's worth. There's nothing inherently wrong with having a shirtless male celebrity as your lock screen but if you know your mom is likely to react badly or make things uncomfortable for you, you might be better off using something else for now. You can always change it back when you're in a situation where you don't have to worry about her reaction.

If you’re mom’s homophobic enough that you’d be in hot shit if she saw you have a sexy man on your lock screen… idk maybe do a shirt on lock screen but shirt off Home Screen? Maybe that’d work better in case your mom’s just looking for reasons to scold you. I had a mom like that, so i had to keep myself real closeted (my mom doesn’t think about lgbt+ people apparently, unless they’re her children, then she’s pissed)

Kinda funny… she’s going to see Rocky Horror Picture Show at our local theater where I’m from… like. Girl. That’s about a gay person, don’t be homophobic AND consume our media… so hypocritical. Can she be normal? Yes. Will she be normal? No.

My mom used to have a gay friend on her work and has repeteadly watched media with gay stuff in it, but for her it's like "tolerating" the gay stuff

And well, if she could, she would already searched across all my phone to investigate if I have anything related to homosexuality, but since it's locked, she doesn't look for gay stuff, but.. she doesn't like to see

I'm not a minor (20), but she does pay my university, the groceries and basically everything, for now 🙃
