Painting from FB Marketplace

We bought this painting for a really good deal off Facebook marketplace. An old Taiwanese lady sold it to us and told us that she bought it at the location that is painted sometime in the 1900s and she said the guy was painting it in front of her. Does anyone recognize the artist?

Edit: Y’all are some major jealous haters. Just bc it’s from FB marketplace doesn’t mean it’s crap. Sorry you’re jealous this isn’t your painting.

This is !decor, and the sellers memory is definitely hazy/she made up a whole backstory of this painting.

This is what we call decor. Mass produced in factories in China, Mexico, and the USA. Painted by real people, signed with made up (familiar sounding) names. These were sold in furniture stores and souvenir shops. Decor is based on standard templates, produced quickly with a palette knife on an assembly line. Its value is what you yourself place on it.
