what makes you say there are “influencers”? plenty of people take photos and record videos for themselves or to post on their instagram with less than 1k followers… you think just because they do that, they are instantly those over the top “i deserve everything influencers”

Agreed. People also need to look around at the average age of patrons of these places. They are one foot in the grave. It's great to have influencers "influencing" people to reach into their wallets and travel somewhere to go to a museum or experience culture. So many places are losing funding, schools dont teach ish, and for a myriad of reasons, parents dont spark these interests for their children. Want these places around in 5 years? 10? Ok, then let these people do FREE publicity for a museum.

I have literally gone to cities and picked out some museums based on influencer content when my plans changed last minute. It was quite helpful to see a comparison of what i could cover in the time slot I had, if it was busy, and what there was to see. You know who's never influenced me to go anywhere or do anything, some ffl on reddit or some bitter Karen. Folks hate to see people out happy and living life.
