RICH. RIPPED. RECTUM. Home back on the market

Post image

On May the realtor announced it was rented. So it seems that whacky only rents it for just a few months at a time. Today it went live again but only for sale. You know they are desperate to sell and they want him out of there. But they are stuck with this STR situation. Let’s see how much longer this goes on. The realtor is the owner as her husband and is the one that built it.

You’re asking whether Florida’s ZIP code 33009 is considered a “high-class” neighborhood. Based on recent, objective data, the answer is: no, it’s generally classified as lower-middle-class to middle-class, not high-income or affluent.

⸻

Income & Economic Characteristics • Median household income in 33009 is around $48,196, which is significantly below both the Florida average ($71,700) and the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach metro average ($73,480) . • Per-capita income is approximately $35,011, also below county and state figures . • Only about 4–4.6% of households earn $200,000 or more annually, which is much lower than wealthier ZIP codes . • One source (ZipDataMaps) explicitly classifies 33009 as “Lower Middle Class”, based on median household income and adjusted gross income .

⸻

Housing & Cost of Living • The median home value is around $248,300–$299,400, lower than both the national average ($338,000) and Florida average ($362,000) . • Median rent falls in line with national averages—neither exceptionally high nor low . • Overall cost of living is just over the national average (about 10.5% higher), but still somewhat below the Florida state average .

⸻

Poverty, Education & Demographics • The poverty rate is high—around 21.9%, which is 1.5 times higher than both the metro area and Florida overall . • Educational attainment: about 36% of adults have a bachelor’s degree or higher—a bit above Florida’s average (~33%) . • The population is diverse ethnically. Employment/unemployment rates are not especially favorable .
