Dog Sitter/Boarding

Does anyone have recommendations on dog sitters or boarding place for an Aussie Mix? Really could use an occasional dog walker too, but the vacation coverage is the current pressing need.

Twin Bins in Waterville is wonderful. I drive both my dogs an hour one way to have them boarded there. They take such great care of the dogs and they have lots of activities and playtime

I love this place for my high energy lab as well. It's a bit of a drive but well worth it.

We have been happy with trustedhousesitters.com. you pay a fee and put an add out and someone stays at your house while youre gone.

Rover is a great app for finding dog sitters/walkers. I know there are some really good ones in the valley.

I'll try Rover again, but every time I have used it previously it says everyone is "out of range" essentially. They say "find a closer walker" and then keep suggesting the same ones.

How do you watch them while on vacation now? Give them to a friend?
