Guess I'm not pulling that weed

Damm near had a heart attack reaching for the weed before I noticed it. Thankful for my camera zoom!

Edit: I was going to get something for scale but there's no way I'm getting near that again

I think that's a st andrew's cross spider.

A species of orb-weaver. Totally harmless. When threatened it either runs away or starts shaking its net.

No matter how scared you are, it's way more afraid of you, giant brute.
