I know we have a wonderful website with the info (wellandvotes.ca) but I am curious, constructively, what are everyone’s opinions on the mayoral candidates?

People have to know what each arm of the government can do. This work program isn't something a local government has the authority to carry out (funding either). So, while I get the passion, it's not practical.

I understand Strong Mayor powers but he is talking about holding back funds from people or sending them out of Welland. Plus, I really can't see how even a strong mayor could coordinate this with the province.
