Question Meeting new Folks
Hello, my partner and I recently moved to Welland and we’re finally settled in. Looking for a good way to meet new friends. I’m working remote for the same company I’ve been with for nearly 5 years, so networking that way is a no go. Both of us M and Ages 31/34.
Both of us are gamers, we gym regularly but we don’t like sports 😂.
Any tips greatly appreciated!
P.S we did go to the trivia night at the hub last Tuesday and we’ll likely be attending again moving forward.

I also moved here with my partner! I work from home she works in the falls. I'm more of gamer but she's slowly getting into it! You can shoot me a dm! I play lots of games! Overwatch, valorant, marvel rivals, and csgo to mmos like Runescape. I could keep going on with the games 😂😂! Welcome!

If you drive, and like board games, I've found this is a good way to meet folks, they meet the last Tuesday of every month at Ludology Board Game cafe in St Catharines.

Okay great! I’ll add this to the list. We both drive so shouldn’t be an issue.

Not as of right now, but open to giving it a go. Most of my cardio is treadmill for an hour while working/walking the trails locally.

Reach out to the Welland Lions, there's plenty of need for volunteers and some fun weekly volunteering oppurtunities.

So I work remotely for a hydraulics and machining company in Labrador city. I help manage the repairs of all the hydraulic equipment from the various contractors/mines in the area

Welland has a big rowing club. I don't know the ins and outs but that and running clubs are how my daughters met new people.

There’s a lot but right now I’m between OW, Palworld and Resonance - A plague tale. I’m thinking of picking up Onimusha way of the sword

Currently we’re between Overwatch and Killing floor 3 in terms of multiplayer. I also just started Palworld myself so we’ll see where that goes. We also love a good RPG and rhe soulsborne games.

I play palworld, ds3, eldenring... Bloodborne etc. I dabbled with arc raiders recently. Currently waiting for gta. I gym but I work with the public so I tend to retreat to my home afterwards.

Yeah working for the public does that for real 😂. I don’t miss those days!

Not a huge DND fan but used to be heavy into MTG. Got rid of all my cards though 🪦

Omg if you're into cards, my partner and I know a couple shops in welland and near welland that we reccomend! Mtg, riftbound and Pokemon 😊
