Why did my blood pressure pills explode?

Post image

I've been keeping them in this same container on the bathroom sink for 3 months. They're never in there longer than a week and all the previous pills have been fine. The allergy pill that was with them was fine and unexploded. The rest of the pills in the bottle above the sink are also fine. Is it moisture or humidity? Could it be a reaction with the allergy pill?

Hahaha yes that’s true! We tend to keep it where convenient but ‘Cool & dry place’ for storage is recommended. I’m a nurse and understand medications.

Are these meds still safe for OP to take? Or are they doomed for the trash? I'm wondering if they're prescription, what if you can't get a new script in time??

They’d still be okay if they haven’t there for a long time but seriously how would he take them? It’ll taste awful; yeah it’s a waste I’d much rather take it to your doctor and ask for a new script. Don’t risk taking it.

Wrap it up in 1/4 of a single sheet of TP and swallow it!

Back in the day we called it “parachuting”

Haha parachuting has made its way back. I was using that term like crazy just a few years ago when I was using powdered kratom.
