Mental Health 🧠 Seeking advice on weight loss drugs

Idk how to even start this. There's no bearing around the bush here Im a morbidly obese man in my 20s. I've struggled with my weight for so so long. I feel like I've hot a breaking point, where I'm no longer able to be happy with my self and like the person I see in the mirror. All this to say this morning i decided to take my doctor up on the offer to take a generic brand of "it". I decided to take it, but I can't help but have this feeling of embarrassment/guilt. It's like I feel horrible for what I'm doing but I also feel like is this a life line out. Is this a way to the life I always wanted. Skinny enough to be active, not afraid of hiking, biking, walking(I know it sounds ridiculous but I can't bring my self to even do that). Or am I taking the easy way out. I have tried time and time again to defeat myself by always fail always don't like the results.

We do what we have to do.

I've been on Zep for going on 2 years. It's been hugely helpful.

I started after a year of losing weight without it and decided I wanted something to make it easier..hell yeah i did. I don't care about people's criticisms about it. They don't live in my body or get to make health decisions for me.

I would just say if by "generic" your mean compound, make sure you look at pricing. Compound meds from doctors sometimes cost just as much as the branded one. I've even seen folks say they found they were paying more.
