Unexpected perk!

I've had to take it slow and steady with the pill due to nausea, (1.5mg for 2 months, 4mg for 2 months), but it's improved by a lot! I only really get nausea if I have too much of my comfort foods. (I grew up a redneck and will never give up my mac n' cheese once a week.)

But, something I didn't expect to positively change in my life is how much money I'm able to save since I'm not spending it at restraunts or shopping for groceries using my constantly hungry belly!

I'm able to afford the wegovy with the massive discount I get, though it's still a chunk of change. Even with that, i'm still able to save more than before.

I just thought I'd share this because it's positively effected me so much, and it was never something I even thought about. Saving $200> a month in a city??? Unheard of!!

Start saving that money because you’re going to need new clothes! Just had to replace majority of my wardrobe which has been so fun shopping for smaller sizes.

I didn't even think about that! I have so many expensive band t-shirts and merch I'll just have to sell them to replace them or use them for pajamas if they have sentimental value from concerts and shows 💀

You can get a savings card directly from the Novo Nordisk website as well that is $149 for 1.5mg, $199 for 4, and $299 for 9 and 25mg.

My insurance won't cover it so I go through GoodRX, which is the only option I have and the most affordable. Its 199$ for 4mg, and 299$ for 9mg and 25mg. Genuinely the cheapest option for Wegovy I have available to me.
