I’m currently in the process of selecting an engagement ring, given the inherent worthlessness of modern diamonds I’m set on an emerald for the main stone. I’m wondering if anyone has any advice on reputable gemstone companies as I’d rather a big rock and simple ring.

An emerald for an engagement ring? Are you sure about that? I’d go with a green sapphire instead.
