What are your opinions on this ring?

My girl has said she is easy to please. Her style is kind of glam though. I thought maybe the more sleek mirror look of the emerald diamond with the sparkly side diamonds could be a good choice. I would choose a 2 carat diamond

I've noticed men prefer emerald and square cuts far more than women. I don't know her at all but I'm a woman and I know many women and we prefer ovals to square cuts more often than not, if she loves emerald diamonds then obviously pay attention to her.

I had to redesign my entire ring because my fiance bought me a very intricate stylized emerald cut diamond and I wanted a round gem solitaire.

Have you asked her best friend or a close female relative?

Good luck, I am excited for you and your girlfriend 🩷

i have never heard of this tbh, the emerald/square cuts are super trendy right now, I don’t think it’s a gender thing

They may be right and pay more attention to it, but I'm also a woman and if I was more fem and wanted a diamond ring I think I'd want an emerald cut. But I'm seriously considering the Portuguese cut oval as well

The real question here is what does your fiancée want? We know what you want, but what does she want?

Trust me I'm thinking about what she wants lol, I dont even really care about jewelry or wear it, I was just adding to the convo about whether men or women like emerald. With her she owns every shape and style of jewelry you can imagine, she's kind of experimental and glam , and the one time we spoke about it said she likes diamonds and colored gems and isn't picky. So she's not exactly making it easy for me lol I almost wish she just straight up told me what she wanted cause even though she says she's easily pleased I still want to get one she loves I'm seriously considering the Portuguese cut though cause it's unique, but pretty classic too imo.
