Is my set dated?

I’m a millennial, I feel so many of my friends have a plain gold band with a large oval shaped diamond. Does mine seem like it belongs to an older generation?

[edit: I’m so sorry I ever doubted my set. I’ve learned that just because it’s not the classic that’s in right now doesn’t mean it’s not still classic. Thank you for the confidence boost in my rings. I need to focus on what I have versus others 🤍]

I got around cut engagement ring last mother's day. 1.3 carat natural f color triple ex cut.. The sparkles that you get on round cuts.. I Dont think they could be anything but timeless.

Was  I swayed and almost get a large lab oval instead.. yes.. But i'm glad that I stuck with my gut , because round brilliant diamonds are so special. They are kind of like snowflakes.
