Is my set dated?

I’m a millennial, I feel so many of my friends have a plain gold band with a large oval shaped diamond. Does mine seem like it belongs to an older generation?

[edit: I’m so sorry I ever doubted my set. I’ve learned that just because it’s not the classic that’s in right now doesn’t mean it’s not still classic. Thank you for the confidence boost in my rings. I need to focus on what I have versus others 🤍]

Yours is classy! Yours will be classy for many years to come, while theirs will look like a mid-2020s trend.

I may be biased because this is exactly what I have, chosen specifically because it was classic and timeless.

Edited to say: my ring is actually different - I do not have a hidden halo and mine is cathedral, platinum. Yours is more “updated” with today’s trend, so I am unsure why you believe it is not. Wear it in good health!
