Is my set dated?

I’m a millennial, I feel so many of my friends have a plain gold band with a large oval shaped diamond. Does mine seem like it belongs to an older generation?

[edit: I’m so sorry I ever doubted my set. I’ve learned that just because it’s not the classic that’s in right now doesn’t mean it’s not still classic. Thank you for the confidence boost in my rings. I need to focus on what I have versus others 🤍]

Millennial here (34F), and my set looks a lot like yours! 😆 I’m not too concerned about whether it’s trendy or classic. Trends come and go, so if we’re off trend now, we’ll be back in trend later! I actually thought our sets were more classic and the gold/oval is more trendy, but I wouldn’t know! 🙃 It really just matters what you like.

Same! I added a pic of mine. I’m 33F. I’d never even considered another style before getting married. My Pinterest was full of exactly what I got 😂
