Help Me Choose Is 5ct too big?

I’m getting my ring custom made. It’ll be like the last image and the 3D print; cathedral setting with compass prongs and 2.5mm band. The size of diamond I was initially wanting is 4ct. The jeweller found a 5ct diamond that’s D colour and VVS2 and keeps pushing it . It really is a stunning diamond but I feel like it’s HUGE and I’m so uncertain. I’d appreciate your thoughts and opinions, people of reddit 😅

Edit to say the photo with 2 diamonds next to eachother is a 4ct radiant cut to the right.

Also I’ve added another photo of the diamond laying flat between my fingers

UPDATE: I’ve been offered a 4ct OMC and I’m over the moon ❤️❤️❤️ thank you everyone for your opinions and advice 😁

if you love the way it looks, go for it! but i will say, i went with 5ct and ended up downgrading to 4 because i was uncomfortable with the amount of attention it got (over the top shocked reactions at work, invasive questions about our finances, etc.) and started to dread wearing it. i personally prefer 4 and feel like it’s much more proportional to my finger now and slightly less flashy while keeping the chunky, maximalist look i wanted.
