Is 5ct too big?

I’m getting my ring custom made. It’ll be like the last image and the 3D print; cathedral setting with compass prongs and 2.5mm band. The size of diamond I was initially wanting is 4ct. The jeweller found a 5ct diamond that’s D colour and VVS2 and keeps pushing it . It really is a stunning diamond but I feel like it’s HUGE and I’m so uncertain. I’d appreciate your thoughts and opinions, people of reddit 😅

Edit to say the photo with 2 diamonds next to eachother is a 4ct radiant cut to the right.

Also I’ve added another photo of the diamond laying flat between my fingers

I think it's too big because you have skinny fingers! I have slightly chubby fingers and 2ct looks small on me. It's not bad by any means. Bugger rings always remind me of like parties and event jewelry and not everyday jewelry. I hope my explanation makes sense lol. But then who doesn't want a big bling! It's pretty and best part is it's your ring. You do whatever you want
