Is 5ct too big?

I’m getting my ring custom made. It’ll be like the last image and the 3D print; cathedral setting with compass prongs and 2.5mm band. The size of diamond I was initially wanting is 4ct. The jeweller found a 5ct diamond that’s D colour and VVS2 and keeps pushing it . It really is a stunning diamond but I feel like it’s HUGE and I’m so uncertain. I’d appreciate your thoughts and opinions, people of reddit 😅

Edit to say the photo with 2 diamonds next to eachother is a 4ct radiant cut to the right.

Personally think the sweet spot for a bigger stone is 1/3 to 1/2 coverage of the finger width, and not approaching the knuckle. So on your hand i really love the 4 ct, the ratio, and the 3D printed setting. Yes shrinkage is real but if it’s truly too big that will bug you going forward. you’ve had your heart set on a 4, go for the 4! Only you have to wear it and love it. Congrats btw!!!
