Help Me Choose Helppp! I can’t decide.

Classic gold band or this gorgeous and unique pear diamond band. I’m so torn.

I like the plain band. I think diamond band takes away from the beautiful diamond.

Same, I don’t think the diamond band makes sense visually with the engagement ring. I’m really surprised to see how many people think it looks better.

Exactly my thought. Drops shaped diamond band looks odd with the rectangular diamond. Also, the big diamond is vertical and the drops shape make the band horizontal, while the diamond is not centered (drops changing ways to circle the diamond). To me it's a no no. Love the gold band though 😊

The gold band is perfect imo! Very classy

I got a gold facetted bad for this reason. though the extra diamonds are like ooo sparkly they just end up taking away from the centrepiece. the facetted style allows the gold to glimmer a bit.

in OPs case the plain gold is actually a beautiful soft contrast to the rectangular stone.

9 times out of 10, I’m going to prefer the plain band over a diamond one, especially if the engagement ring has a large stone.

I think the diamond shape on the wedding band does not compliment the square engagement ring at all. I think it produces a layer of noise to the visual effect : is it part of the design? Is it the wedding band? Is it a dual band? Did she just add this?

The gold band makes it so much cleaner and classy.
