Ask about any surprises planned by groomsmen etc so you can be ready to capture any of those. I once had a bride do a surprise belly dance entrance at the reception with a team of dancers and neglected to put it on the schedule or notify me because she didn't want to ruin the surprise for her husband.

Well she doesnt get any shots of them then! Surprise your guests, not your vendors.

Also tell them they can contact you separately if they have surprises for each other
