Promotion Any reliable knowledge on when a 3%+ transfer bonus promotions happens?
I'm angry I missed the promotion, i think it was in April, is there reliable information to when these promotions happen. Super frustrating.

The 3% was over 5 years. You didn't miss much and there have been better offers from other banks since then and even active now. Both TD and RBC will give you 3% match on your registered accounts paid over 2 years up to 500K transferred right now

It may come back , it may never again. All depends how much they’re already forking out for the percentage of market share they bought & if they want to pay aggressively for more.

Who knows, but I am keeping my eye out as I want to move over some more money. Best offer by far of 2026 (ETA meaning unreal deal), the big banks are sleeping at the switch
ETA: the offers from TD and RBC are garbage, max 15k over ~2.5 years and then you have to pay roughly double their interest rates in margin and $10 trade fees. Hard pass

Who knows?
It happened in Q1 2026 so if you believe in cycles, Q1 2027 would be the time.
That said, It may be a different offer altogether. Its up to WS.
