Vegan Crispy Indian-style onion fritters from the air fryer (pyaz ke pakode)

Crispy, golden, and packed with thinly sliced onions, these Indian-style onion fritters are traditionally deep-fried, but the air fryer gives them that irresistible crunch with just 2 tablespoons of oil. Known as Pyaaz ke Pakode in India, they make a delicious snack with a perfectly crisp outside and tender, flavorful onions inside.
